Twitch or Kick drops not working? 8 things to check

Updated October 14, 2026

Most drop problems come down to the account link, the stream you're watching, or a reward that was never claimed. Work through these in order.

  1. Is the campaign still live?

Watch time only counts between a campaign's start and end. Check the campaign's dates on our live drops page.

  2. Is your game account linked, to the right account?

Most campaigns need your game account linked to Twitch or Kick before you watch. Linking the wrong game account (an old one, or the wrong platform) is the most common reason rewards go missing. Unlink and link again from the game's connect page if needed.

  3. Is the stream eligible?

It has to be a live stream in the game's category with drops on (the Drops enabled tag on Twitch). If a campaign is limited to certain streamers, only those count. Reruns and offline channels don't count.

  4. Are you logged in?

Watching while logged out earns nothing. Make sure you're signed in to the same Twitch or Kick account you linked.

  5. Did you press Claim?

Earned isn't the same as claimed. Open Drops & Rewards on Twitch, or your drops inventory on Kick, and claim each reward.

  6. Give it time

Some games deliver claimed rewards within minutes, others take up to 24 hours. Restart the game before you contact support.

  7. Try another browser or device

If watch time won't go up, try a different browser without extensions that block video or scripts, or a phone. Facepunch suggests the same for Kick sync problems.

  8. Still missing? Contact the game, not Twitch or Kick

Once you've claimed, the game maker delivers the reward. Their support (and any 'missing drops' tool on their connect page) is the place to ask.

Questions

Why is my watch time stuck at 0%?

Usually the stream isn't eligible (wrong category, drops off, or not one of the listed streamers), you're logged out, or the campaign hasn't started yet.

Do I need to keep watching once a reward unlocks?

No. Claim it, then keep watching only if the campaign has more rewards to earn.
